Backing the
architects of
what comes next.

Atlas Ventures is an early-stage venture capital firm investing in founders who are building the critical infrastructure, developer tools, and applied intelligence systems that will define the next decade of technology.

We invest in the
infrastructure layer
of the future economy.

Every major technology shift creates a new infrastructure layer. Cloud computing gave rise to a generation of platform companies. Mobile created entirely new categories of consumer behavior. We believe applied intelligence and programmable infrastructure represent the next foundational shift.

We look for founding teams with deep technical insight working on problems that are structurally important — not just timely. Our portfolio companies build the connective tissue between complex systems: data infrastructure, developer platforms, security architecture, and the applied AI systems that make all of it more capable.

We lead or co-lead rounds from $500K to $15M. We write our first check early and reserve aggressively for follow-on. We are hands-on when asked, absent when not, and permanently aligned with the founders we back.

01

Infrastructure & DevTools

The platforms, protocols, and developer tools that form the foundation for the next generation of software. We seek companies reducing the complexity of building, deploying, and operating modern systems.

02

Applied Intelligence

AI and machine learning applied to real-world workflows with measurable ROI. Not intelligence for its own sake — intelligence embedded in systems where it creates compounding value over time.

03

Security & Trust

As systems grow more complex and interconnected, the attack surface expands. We invest in companies building the security, identity, and compliance infrastructure that makes modern architecture trustworthy.

68 companies.
Three core sectors.
One conviction.

Our portfolio spans the critical layers of modern technology infrastructure. Each investment reflects our belief that the most durable companies solve structural problems, not temporary ones.
